Mother's Day Card

I hope everyone is having a fabulous Mother’s Day! In honor of all of the mom’s in our lives, I have a Mother’s Day card to share with you today. I created this card using the Cracklin Rose Paperline and the sentiment for the new Quote Bundles. I layered my card base with patterned paper and used a punch to create a decorative edge on one of the layers.

I then added the “Happy Mother’s Day” sentiment and ribbon and then added the three punched Spellbinders flowers to my card.  To finish things off, I added dots of bronze pearl paint to the punched border.

Kindness Card

I have a card to share with you today!  I created the card using paper from the April Club
Q Kit.  I inked the edges of my paper with Java PowderPuff Chalking Ink and layered several different papers onto a piece of craft cardstock. I added the scallop circle and butterfly from the April kit and attached the “kindness” sentiment from the Cracklin Rose 6x6 Pad with brads.

I added Prima flowers, bling and pearl paint to finish off the card. Here you can see where I pop dotted the wings of the butterfly to create some dimension:

Altered Notebook

Hi everyone!  I have an altered notebook to share with you today! I altered the notebook using elements from the April Club Q kit.  I started off by covering a composition book with patterned paper from the kit and then added ribbon and cutouts from the Dusty Road 6x6 Paper Stack.  I also inked all of the edges of my papers with Dusty Rose PowderPuff Chalking Ink.

Here you can see where I added a decorative brad, pearls, and a butterfly cutout to the front of the album.

Good Times Layout

I have a summer layout to share with you today!  I used the new Be Bold collection along with several Kiwi Lane templates to create my layout.  I started off by using the templates to create the borders on the right and left hand side of my page along with the wave border at the bottom of my page.  I then inked the edges of my papers with Red Hot PowderPuff Chalking Ink.

I added a quote strip from the Family Quote Bundle along with a flower from the Kiwi Lane Wildflower Template.

I also added several chipboard diecuts to the wave boarder and throughout my layout. Journaling blocks from the Be Bold 6x6 Paper Pad were also added to each of the photos.

Ahhhh summer…I for one can’t wait!!

Moments Layout

Happy Wednesday everyone!  I have a layout to share with you today.  I used the new Dusty Road paperline along with several Kiwi Lane framing templates as the basis of my layout.  I inked the edges of my papers with Coal Miner PowderPuff Chalking Ink and inked the purple background paper with Coconut PowerPuff Chalking Ink.  I then layered the borders that I created using the Paisley Place Templates on each side of my page.  I then cut several circle elements out of my patterned paper and randomly added them to my pages.

I created the title by mounting a vellum quote from the Sentiments Quote Bundle to the striped piece of paper using brads.  Here you can see a close of the title:

I then added several more sentiments from the Quote Bundle and attached each piece with Brads.  After adding my photos, I used a white gel pen to add detail around the circle elements.

Love Card

Hi everyone!  I must say that I’m super excited about the new Quick Quotes ink colors!  I’ve finally had a chance to play with a few and I have to say that they are awesome!!  I have a card to share with you today that features two of the new inks; Dusty Rose and Coconut.

I used the Cracklin’ Rose 6x6 Paper Pad to cover my card base.  I inked the paper with Coconut which created a soft white chalky look around the pieces. I also inked a white doily with the new Dusty Rose Chalk Ink which matched my papers perfectly.  Here you can see where I cut the doily in half and inked 1 half with Dusty Rose:

 I then added two quotes from the new Quote Bundle called “Inspiration”, attaching one with brads and pop-dotting the other in the center of my card.

To finish off my card, I added bling and flowers to the top portion of the card.
